To get admission into an Australian management school, applicants are required to follow certain procedure. The procedures start with applications. The applicant needs to apply for application forms and for that he or she must need to send enquiries twelve months before the admission commences. Applicant can get the required forms through email, or downloading the form from website of the college. Once downloaded student can fill up the form and submit it. Once form is filled up and submitted, applicant needs to provide his or her complete academic records. These records include, mark sheets of higher secondary, senior secondary and bachelor examinations. These records must be accompanied by official transcript of college attended. All the documents should be attested with thorough details of course subjects and credits obtained. The next step involves taking standardized Tests. Prime objective of these tests is to check applicant’s English proficiency. Applicant needs to take IELTS (International English Language Test) as per requirements of various universities. Apart from IELTS, many universities also accept TOEFL and GMAT scores. Sometimes in lieu of IELTS or TOEFL tests, applicants are asked to get a letter from institution authenticating their proficiency in English After this comes, one of the most crucial parts in MBA admission procedure. Applicant is required to submit a ‘letter of recommendation or reference’. Generally this letter of recommendation is signed by someone, applicant has worked with, professionally or taught by in a particular subject. The letter should manage to bring out applicant’s positive aspects. The person signing the letter are also asked to rate the students and they must provide details about their positions. The last step is writing a personal essay or statement of purpose. Personal essay reveals students’ stated reason for selecting particular course, education, personal goals and visions and experience details. Sometimes, personal essay plays a big part in clinching the admission seat in the desired MBA University.

In order to get admission into Australian universities, students need to obtain student visa. Student visa holders are eligible to move in Australia and stay there for the complete period of the academic course.

As per the rules, students from nationality other than Australian can not commence part time courses in Australia. Students are also supposed to leave the country once the course is completed.

There are few procedures to be followed while applying for student visa. The first procedure is to fill up the application form which can be obtained from the Australian High Commission or the official High Commission Website.

While submitting the application form, one is also required to submit the stated application fee payable in name of Australian High Commission. The next step is of Preliminary Visa Assessment also called as PVA. In this step, application is thoroughly assessed on the basis of evidence of enrolment, bona fides and adequate financial resources.

In evidence of enrolment, applying student is required to be admitted for enrolment. This acceptance is done by Government registered Australian education institution which consequently is verified from the particular Australian institution. This verification and acceptance is also known as Letter of Offer.

Bona fide assessment procedure checks the credibility of the applicant and his visa authenticity. Credibility assessment is done on the basis of applicant’s academic performance, his or her English language proficiency and finally compliance with visa rules and regulations.

Adequate financial resources imply applicant’s capability to pay course fee and staying cost in Australia which includes many variable expenses.

Once applicant meets the PVA conditions, he or she has to deposit course fee followed by medical examination.

It is also recommended to consider four to six weeks time duration for the complete procedure of application procedure.

Apart from these, few other issues which are focussed upon are members of the family unit who may accompany student and visa’s validity for re-entering into Australia

Australia provides a wonderful opportunity to the students who are willing to do their Masters in Management. Apart from USA and Europe, Australia has been quite a popular destination for MBA aspirants in recent times.

Australian universities have an international recognition and are very much popular all across the globe and particularly in Asia-Pacific region.

MBA courses from Australian universities are an interesting and attractive mix of various aspects of business and management. The speciality of Australian MBA courses lies in practical application of study material. Australian universities offer management courses in multiple disciplines.

Australian universities offering MBA courses have included exemplary teaching methodology. Not only, focus is on improving basic skills required to work efficiently in business environment but they also strive to inculcate theoretical aspects in students in such a way that, students can effortlessly integrate into the rough waters of business world. These courses are designed in such a way that, students get to explore various theories related to subjects like statistics, economics, psychology, human behaviour, competitive analysis, leadership etc. Australian MBA colleges also work in sync with business houses and that proves very crucial in forming industry specific course curriculum.

Another criterion for getting admission into management courses in Australia is to have minimum two to three years of work experience. One must have significant work experience to get into MBA courses. But, to the convenience of many students who do not possess any work experience, five to six Australian management colleges accept students even without any sort of work experience.

Aspiring MBA candidates need to clear GMAT, TOEFL or IELTS for getting through Australian MBA universities. Though, few universities adopt more flexible stance regarding GMAT yet its better to have a GMAT score because top colleges like Melbourne Business School and others require these scores.

All Australia universities require TOEFL or IELTS score. In fact, barring one or two exceptions all management colleges in Australia have made it mandatory for the students to take TOEFL or IELTS. Notable point is students from Indian sub-continental countries like India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and other countries, compulsorily need to take IELTS if they want to have Australian student visa.

Several Australian business schools find frequent mention in the top class management colleges ranking published all over the world. Australian B-schools have made a reputation for themselves over the years. Their management courses are quite popular in Asia-Pacific region.

When it comes to naming good B-schools, there are various options available to MBA aspirants. All of these quality management schools have unique, contemporary course modules designed in collaboration with industry experts. Students can opt for specializing in their chosen subjects as many traditional and new subjects are available to them.

The fees for Australian universities range from 15000$ to 55000$, depending upon the course duration and program offered. Generally, Australian universities offer very few scholarships funds to overseas students. Though, students have the option of applying for funds through Australian and home country government. However, mostly students should be prepared to arrange their own money because of lack of scholarships options.

These are few of the good B-schools in Australia. Students have the choice of going for full time, part time, distance learning, online or executive MBA programs from these colleges.
